Summary:

The subject is inserted in systems of social, culture and family discourses that constitute him / herself but at the same time, and in several occasions, cause discomfort. This drives to a personal questioning, to find out what of him/herself find there in the mentioned systems and where is missed.

This article approaches a particular case of this inherent discontent in the subject which is taken of the series “Unorthodox”. The protagonist is among the religious rules and following her own route. This leads to question about the singular, the subjective, that participates in the access to desire, that is in a different site of the outside and brings the subject closer to something of their own; something that is in the subject constitution more than in the exterior of the institutions.
