[marron]Summary[/marron]
The work proposes alternate reading of the William Styron novel along with the Alan Paluka film of the same name, in order to thoroughly study, in all its subtleties, one unforgettable scene in cinematic history. Set in Brookline (Massachusetts) in 1947, the plot permanently returns to the horrors of war. Along the same line, the work is organized in two parts, the first designed to treat the logic of totalitarianism, and the second to explore its effects on the character.
