What are the limits of the psycho-pedagogical diagnosis? This chapter of the book addresses the relation between school and so-called Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Once again Bart becomes the center of a situation which is both complex and confusing for him as well as the adults. The subjective consequences of the demand for a response from the school and the conflict that results from Bart’s behavior, are input for analysis regarding the contribution that ethics can provide to a debate that is not subsumed under the disciplinary logic of the school, nor under the gaze of psychiatric entities.
