Summary:

Based on the film "The Insult," the film analyzes, from a legal and analytical perspective, the spiral of hatred that engulfs its protagonists, a Lebanese man and a Palestinian refugee. Set in present-day Beirut and against the backdrop of the aftermath of the Lebanese Civil War (1975-1990), the film examines the social and subjective factors that contribute to the escalation of aggression. It also examines, in particular, the ways in which these historical markers will determine how the conflict becomes a matter of state on the media, political, and legal agendas of that society.
