[marron]Summary[/marron]
Shortly after turning thirty, Marguerite Yourcenar wrote this "poem in prose", as she liked to call this series of works, gathered under the title of "Feux" and published by Grasset in 1936. "Antigone or the election", is reproduced here in the beautiful translation to Spanish by Emma Calatayud and accompanied by the sculpture of Gustavo Rodríguez. Since its original writing by Sophocles and through a hundred versions, the tragedy has remained as a symbol of the value of burial, knotting the Greek cave to the Roman pits, and memorials to the writing of mourning.
