[marron]Summary[/marron]
How can we address the trauma that comes with adolescence from a psychoanalytic standpoint? How can we approach the disruptive element that is inherent to adolescence? And what about the physical and emotional violence that are as well a vital part of this "condition"? This paper intends to tackle these subjects using Arthur Rimbaud’s poetry as a starting point, and understands his literature as a metaphor that will allow us to gain a better insight into the troubled lives that youngsters lead in our days. This presentation was given by the author at the International Symposium "Production, Works and Symptom. The value and the function of the object in the processes of exclusion and inclusion", held at Aix-en-Provence, France, 15th-17th September 2016, under the guidance of Derek Humphreys.
