This article poses a question about the implementation of public policies aimed at regulating the use of the Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques (AHRT), with a focus on how to handle information regarding the identity of the donors of genetic material. What are the possible courses of action, within a legal context, that would enable the "realization" of a policy capable of linking rights – body – language – affiliation, in a manner consistent with bioethics qua the ethics of the singular? To such an end, the diverse conceptions concerning the origin of life and parentage are analyzed from a Lacanian perspective.
