Summary:
The following written paper explores the social bond in Autism based on the protagonists of series and movies. It tries to show how the characters build the bond with the Other from their own resources, making a singular use of “lalangue”. It is, in fact, a question of approaching the singular subjective functioning where one remains hooked to the One of the jouissance of lalangue, a private language that does not seek to communicate but to enjoy. This explains the difficulty to open up to the Other and to get out of the One, that is to say, its weakness to make a social bond. Under this conception, Language presents itself as an elucubration of the trauma of lalangue, hence it can make use of symbolic resources that are supported, in some cases, by the Objects that can be taken from the Other, these being the same ones that offer the possibility of supporting the anguish of reality.
